The school claims to train over 500 students each year in western classical music on instruments such as the viola and the cello, but its Outreach Project is drawing greater attention. The Project reaches out to the visually challenged, the disabled and also to the children of prison inmates serving life sentences. Teachers from the bsm travel to orphanages and Children’s Homes to impart education and inspire inmates, some of whom are living on Bangalore’s gilded streets. Read more.
